It's now known as OMNI which translates as One Malaysia National Initiative which they claimed to be Malaysia's Fastest and most Robust FTTH Network utilizing Active Ethernet instead of PON to deliver a minimum of dedicated 30mbps to 100mbps for each premise.
This images shows you how different Active Ethernet is compared to current PON(Passive Optical) technology which is currently offered by TM.
It also claims to give you the FREEDOM to choose your own isp from Unifi, Jaring, Maxis, Time ASTRO, Celcom or whichever isp which are interested to join their open network.
Equipment is provided by Ericsson which is the same vendor for Singtel eXStream.

It will be launched first at Kuantan and will probably be extended to other states which have receive any FTTH network build out yet such as AlorSetar, Penang Island, Ipoh, Seremban, Malacca, Johor towns, Kuala Terengganu, and Kota Bahru.
